Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 410-180 defines community health workers, peer wellness specialists, Peer Support specialists, Doulas, and personal health navigators. Peer Support Specialists and Peer Wellness Specialists include four subtypes: Adult Mental Health, Adult Addiction, Family Support and Youth Support. For ease of translation, we have used "traditional health workers" to encompass all worker types.
